I need a name for a character of mine. I want to give her a name that means "life", "pure", "good" or something along those lines. So far I have found the name Rina which means "joy" in Greek. I like the name Rina but I'm not sure if it's the one I'm looking for. Any name suggestions would be much appreciated!
Some info on the character: - Black hair - Light skin - Female - Loves cats - Smart - Enjoys challenges - Has no family - Adult - Wealthy

Here we go... Chaia (life) - could be spelled Chaya Maisha (life) Taneisha (fairy queen, life) Viva (full of life) Catalin (pure) Kadri (pure) Kaelin (pure) Kaia (pure) Nakia (pure, faithful) Rena (joy) - very similar to the one you have already, but I thought I'd throw it out there I just want to point out a name I found... Eowyn is an actual name! It means "horse of joy." Lol.

Viva reminds me of that song by Coldplay "Viva la Vida". Lol. Nakia sounds like a horse breed, somewhat. Catalin, I already have Kate in A Broken Life, too smiliar I think. Chaia seems Chinese to me. Hmm, I really like Rena with an e instead. Perhaps that's it. I've been rolling the name around my tongue for a bit.

Lol. Okay, scratch those names. Except for Rena. If you want more, I could keep looking.

I think I'm going to go with Rena. It feels better with an e instead of an i. But do you know what Vida means?

Ah, so "Joy of Life" right? That's an interesting title for a song.

Hmmm... Yeah, it is. Not the kind of song title you commonly see, lol.
Hehe... My soccer coach's motto is "Viska vina allt" (I think that's how it's spelled). It means, "we will win everything." Lol.

Lol. Yeah, it is a bit unusual.
Haha. That's good. I like that motto.

Me too.
He's a new coach for the girls this year, but he coached both of my brothers when they were in high school... He's going to have to get used to the idea of me being a defender (both of my brothers were on offense). Lol. And it might be a little weird, what with my oldest brother having been the star player and everything... I'm good, but I'm not that good. Ah, well. It will be fun. ;D

As long as you have fun that's all that matters.

Yeah, Rena's a good name. I rather liked Kadri, too.
