I'd like to read that poem, too... It sounds interesting.
There's a reason I put "calling" in quotes, lol.

Ahh the sonnet about my calculator. -digs- It's very childish and oh so - how do I put this? - seranade-ish. But I hope you like:
"No Title" =/ Oh buttons that press so wonderfully You will understand everything I ask You give me answers with absolute glee Once I am done, I clip on your black mask.
When I need you again I will get you I will make you do what I need you for Add, subtract, multiply, divide you do Pressing your buttons make my fingers sore!
Until we meet again my sweet, smart friend You will just have to wait to calculate. Don't worry, friend, this is far from the end. You'll be able to reel me in like bait!
Without you, calculator, I would fall So please, my smart friend, answer my sweet call.

Thanks It just...came to me. It will be graded...it was something I needed to do for English. I hope it will excel xD Yet, my teacher seems to have a big problem with my work. Last time I turned something in, she took off some points because I wrote really lightly in my notebook for corrections. This time? I wrote in pen, and half of the page is crossed out! Gah.

Thanks. Though my teacher is very "old-fashioned". And she will probably think my poem is not very funny. You guys asked about the haikus too, right? Ahh, they are the funniest thing. My friend's haiku was the following, except she screwed up the syllables. It's still very funny:
Watch out, Bobby She is in the closet Beware of the lady.
Aww. It's sort of an inside joke, but Bobby is a very funny guy who usually sits with us at lunch. In English, he sits by the closet. When the teacher was gone, my friend hypothesized that she was in the closet to attack Bobby. And then, we knew that HAD to be one of our Haikus. She screwed up her tanka (in reply to the haiku) so I won't even post it.

Would you guys be willing to help me? I just remembered I do need a title for that poem! Does anything come to mind?

Wow! Love the poem. For a title what about... 'My Calculator' 'Oh Lovely Friend' 'Buttons!' 'Number and Buttons' um...I can't really think of anything else. Those are pretty random titles, lol.

"My Smart Friend" could be the title... I like Endovia's suggestions, too, though. If your teacher doesn't like that poem, there's something wrong with her. It's great!

Haha. She's very strict though - not like most of my teachers. Yet she's probably one of my favorite professors. That's okay. I'll live =x

Lol. Isn't it odd how that works? Your favorite teachers can also be the ones who are the hardest on you. I hope she likes the poem, though!
