I think it might be fun to have a police vs. criminal RP on here. My idea is a turn of the last century London setting. You wonder of course how this would work, understandable. It would work in a way that you (yes you there) could control any minor or major character save the detectives and criminals. Say you get tired of the detective's mother-in-law (just an example) you could make her go and take a late night walk in a dark alley. Any character would be fair game (unless you specify that they are yours and yours alone.) It might take some getting used to, but I think it could be fun. If you are interested, put a profile down here including: Name: Age: Rank: Description: Personality: Family attachments: You can leave off, or add to any of this.

I could try. Present day crime isn't my forte, but I'd like to give it a shot

I'm talking 1800's Jack the Ripper type stuff. I thought you fellows might have fun with that.

Sounds intriguing, but I'm more of the fantasy type. I'll be a ghost and read it, if it takes off, though. I don't have the creative energy to do an RP right now, anyway.

Okay, that century is awesome to write in. I'll hopefully have my character up later today.

Sorry, I forgot all about it! Either would be great, but a lot of my time is going to be taken up until mid May, so I won't get much posted very often(Oh shoot, I'm behind with Dred too!). Tell ya what, I'll make a charater for each tonight/tomorrow, and whichever one you decide I'll post the character for. I'm leaning towards the 1800s one at the moment. (In order to make a WWII one, I'll need some settings info) Sorry, APUSH is devouring my life at the moment so I get overwhelmed pretty easily with school stuff.

Okie dokie, here's two guys that I made that I'm thinking about using ( I just went 1800s). I'm leaning towards William at the moment but Peter would be fun and mix it up a bit. Your imput/preferance would be great.
Name: Peter M. Carlson
Age: Forty-two
Occupation: hatter
Description: Peter Matthias Carlson is a relatively short, overweight, clean shave, graying man, with bright green eyes. He’s smart, but somewhat lacking in common sense. ‘Mad as a hatter’ fully applies to Peter, and his seemingly random mood swings and trains of thought leave many confused. He used to be married, but his wife vanished several years before, leaving him with a young daughter (about thirteen) who was taken in by his brother William for a time. Relatively successful and well skilled at his trade, he maintains a shop with a house sitting above, and a comfortable lifestyle. A small pistol is also kept close at hand, and a shotgun lives underneath his bed. Family: Usually gets along with his brother, William Forbes, and loves his Daughter Sarah dearly. He has never forgotten his wife, and sometimes even forgets that she’s gone, clinging to the hope that she’s still alive after all these years.
Name: William Gerald Forbes
Age: thirty-one
Occupation: Liquor merchant
Description: William Gerald Forbes was a healthy man in years past, but many years of tobacco usage have given him lung problems. He’s average height with deep hazel eyes and black hair with scattered hints of grey. He runs a relatively profitable business selling liquor and other more questionable items from opiate to firearms. He is as kind as his brother, Peter, but has a much more pessimistic (’a realist’s view’ as he calls it) view on life. Honesty is one of his most key values. :ike his brother, he keep a pistol close, thoughWilliam has a larger, more expensive weapon made of ebony with a silver cap on the handle.
Family attachments: He is close to his brother Peter Carlson and often takes care of his daughter Sarah whom he has grown close too. His wife, Mercy, helps with the church often, suspecting of his questionable dealings but never confronts him about it. Mercy is twenty three years old, and remains devoted to her husband, and he remains faithful and loving to her. He changed his last name, due to his hatred towards his father, reverting to his mother’s maiden name.

Either would be fine. I'll set up the story in another post. You could even use both if you like.
