I'm leaving to drive to college tomorrow morning. The trip is three days, counting a day with my grandparents. Then there's orientation, so I don't know if I'll be getting on much for about a week. If I don't get on, I will be back as soon as things settle down. Hopefully that will be soon.

Sapphire!! Where are going to school at? Everyday, I fins myself looking forward to my collage trip. Funny huh? Seeing how last year I was terrified. I'm just a Junior, but I'm so ready to leave now. I want to make myself something, I guess maybe it's because I've been told "you can't" or "you won't" too many times lately. Especially with Alex. I just want to prove so many people wrong. But that's how I am, "Tell me I can't and I will. Tell me I'm not worth it, and I'll show you I am. Tell me I'm a dreamer and I'll show you dreams." Lol, oops. didn't mean to go on. CONGRATS. HAVE FUN!

Haha. That's okay, Ruger... You're a writer. I'm at Pratt Institute, in Brooklyn, NY. It's know for its visual arts, but it has an amazing writing program. An example of how artsy this school is: There was a block party tonight, and they had black paper on the floors with chalk for people to draw on. You'd expect a bunch of stick people and words, right? These people drew elaborate pictures - one of them drew the singer of the reggae band that was performing, and she got him perfectly... In chalk. Crazy, right? I wrote a poem with the chalk, lol. I'll post it in a few minutes. I have some breathing room at the moment, since it's late. I'm not sure how much time I'll have in the next week. They've got us scheduled pretty much every minute of the day for orientation. I'll get on as often as I can, though.

So far, I'm exhausted, lol. They've kept us hopping. And they tell us that we'll be longing for orientation when we get to classes...

Haha... I never would have guessed that I'd end up in NYC... I'm a small town girl, heart and soul. But New York is where the literary scene is, and I want to be an author, so here I am.
