Hello all! I work/ trian/ ride/ take lessons/ etc at a Quarter Horse Farm. Well, last night, [Febuary 20, 2008] we had our 3rd foal of the year. [sadly we lost one along with the mare.] so now we have two stud colts. Cooper, is the oldest, born on Febuary 18th or 19th, he is a sorrel with a white marking. Although Cooper is a doll, this thread is for the little no-name born last night. I would like some help finding a name! Please, please, he will possibly stay a stud. [His father is currently standing stud, and his father was Cool Scotch.] So both a good barn name and show name are imparitive. Forein names are LOVED is they aren't to complicated and have a good meaning. Here are some facts about little no-name;
-------
He is palomino [yellow] He is a stud colt He was born during a LUNAR ECLIPSE His sire is Another Scotch Please. His grand-sire was Cool Scotch [who is now dead..] His mother's barn name is Lucy [show name is something to do with Lucilla or something..]
------- I do NOT want Eclipse Moony Luna or Luna.
------- barn names -AND- show names accepted and apreciated.
------- IDEAS are Umbra- syn for shadow.
------- When posting ideas, please send my the name, sounding, origin [if one] and meaning. example [this is my name lol]; adrian [aye-dree-ann] means of the adriatic. artistic, [and so on in descrobing.]
--------------------- THANK YOU SOO MUCH

Um... I'll suggest a few. They might not be good, but they're ideas.
Another Lunar Scotch
Golden Eclipse (is Eclipse okay with another word? I wasn't sure...)
Dark Gold Scotch
Lucilla's Golden Scotch

those are all great, but I would really like some barn names. example; My mare's 'show name' is "Ima Rearing To Go" but...her 'barn name' is Takoda The Geldings' names are "Impress Me Tank -or- Tankin Around Town" and "Hez The Kid" but their 'barn names are Buddy and Taylor. Sparky's show name is "Lets Spark An Old Flame" Caddy's show name is "Caddaliac Jack Favor"
and so on.....
Because we need a barn name before we get a registerd name. =D

Ah, okay.
Um... Before we changed his name (he liked the other one better), we called the pony I used to ride Cracker. You could use that.
Or... Midi [mee-dee], French, means "midday" or "noon" Muse (I got that from looking at your signature...)
I'm not so good with the barn names... That's all I have for now. Maybe I'll think of more later.

Lol. I tried Spanish, as well, but I liked French better. They only offer the two at the middle school I went to, and that's where I started, so I just stuck with French in high school.
