You know you're a writer when your characters hijack your stories and take them for a joyride!

You know you are a writer when you get emotional when something bad happens to your characters. I know this happens with me. I cry every time I read this one scene in my novel.

Gosh, I know that one for sure. I can't read through the novel I'm currently writing without crying.

Haha. That's definitely the mark of a writer... We had to write a 6-8 page short story for one of my classes, and everyone was complaining that it was too short. The professor gave in and let us go up to 10 pages.
