Faera's name means "Fated One." She's the one foretold in a prophecy (you can read the prophecy in the poems section of the forum). She has short golden hair and stormy, gray-blue eyes. Taken from her parents at the age of four, when she was discovered by the commanders of the army, she never really had a childhood. From the time she left home, all she learned of was war - how to fence, shoot a bow, track, and hide in the wild. She is immortal. Only another immortal can kill her.
Casimir means "the great destroyer." He's immortal, as well, but his eyes turned black when he turned to evil. He has the power to look into another's mind when he chooses, and only the strongest of will can resist him. His one goal is to control the kingdom, and only Faera stands in his way. He's building an army to attack once more, but before he can win, she must be out of the way.
When Faera was thirteen years old, she faced Casimir in battle for the first time. He won easily, seeing all of the moves she planned to make before she could make them. He intentionally left her alive, half dead on the forest floor, to be found by the army commanders.
The commanders found her and paid for a healer's silence as well as his services. They told everyone that she had run away, betrayed them all. When she recovered from her injury, she disappeared into the wild for four years.
The story begins when Faera becomes known to the human world once again. She is captured by Casimir, and in his dungeon with her are three others, one of whom will influence her more than either could guess.
