Hmm... I will have to go back and reread some of your writing. Is there any suggested number of pages or anything? You should definitely include an excerpt from Charlotte.

Yes, a bit of Charlotte is a must. I'll go back and look at some of your work and give you titles.

Endovia i like your sig!
No, there isn't a number of pages. We just didn't want to overwhelm him with anything too much. I do plan on mentioning Charlotte though.

Good call. Always good to let them know that you wrote a novel before you even finished high school.

Okay. For your portfolio, I'd suggest putting in: Stories: Part of Charlotte, like we said. Beyond the Mirror Jealousy The Sound of Melody A Sticky Situation (from your children's stories) Poems: Goodnight, Love The Start and the End You might also want to consider writing some poems that aren't about relationships... That's what my teacher suggested when I needed a portfolio for the college I'm going to next year. I did and ended up with some of my best poems. Of course, those are all just suggestions... I picked them out because I really liked them and because they show your range of talent, from children's stories to scary stories to novels to poetry.

Um... Can't really say, since it's not posted anymore, lol. I was going to look through it and pick out a couple of sections, but I'd forgotten that you took it down.
From what I can remember, I'd say put in some from the beginning, where the reader gets to know Charlotte a little. That way, whoever is reading it won't be completely lost, and we get some of the great details you put in.

Yeah, I know what you mean... It's hard to get started on that kind of thing. Now that I have, though, I love it.
Try thinking of a moment that you felt something deeply... Not for another person, but for life or the world in general. Or, if there are any lines or sayings that you really like, start a poem with that. You could also write a descriptive poem about something you've seen.

Good luck! I hope it goes well. I'll be gone until Sunday night, but post about how it went and I'll read it then.
