It is. Students in Europe must have really heavy history books.

Haha. I never thought of it that way, but you're right. Imagine memorizing all of those dates! Ugh.

I know, that would stink. I hate memorizing dates and then you get a multiple choice question and it's like what year was blah blah? A. 1779 B. 1778 C. 1775 D. 1777 And it's like uh 17 something I don't know. Lol.

I know! If there's one thing I can't do, it's memorize dates. They just don't stick in my head (I think it's a number thing, lol...). When I was a sophomore, I took an A.P. U.S. History class, and we had to memorize a ton of dates. The only reason I got an A in that class was because of the extra credit essays we could write every week.

Especially when the tests are really hard. Like my science teacher he's really confusing. Most of the time I think he's speaking a different language because he explains everything in such a complicated way. And his tests are all the same format. Fill in the blank. I have nothing against fill in the blanks, but when you don't have a word bank and your utterly lost then it's a tad hard.

Yeah, there's tons of extra credit and also he has this thing where we correct our mistakes on the test and explain why we got it wrong and then we get one third of the points we lost back which really helps.

Oh, yeah. That's really nice. I wish my calc teacher would do that.

I wish every teacher would do that. But at least my science teacher does it, that's something.
