Since we're already kinda in October and I think it'll take awhile for all the votes I think we could start on the 25th of October for October. Perhaps we should let people know so they can start thinking about who they want to vote for? We could list all the possible candidates to win on the 24th or a little before the 25th so we get the votes then the nominees. Arf, complicated. Why don't we just have the poems, stories, etc. from this month posted on the poll and whichever has the most votes by the 30th or so wins. Is that easier?

Yeah, ok, we can do that. I was thinking about the stories, and novels mainly, what if they're not finished? Should they still be put up to vote? It can take a while to finish a novel, depending on how much time the author has and such so should the novel go in the month that it's finished?

Unfinished should count too, unfinished books can be 1000 times better than finished ones sometimes.

I agree, but if it takes months for the story to be finished should it be able to win the awards each month?

Make it like, a contest once a month, unless no new novels are added. Something to that effect.

I think they should be able to win more than once... If it's the best, why not? Of course, only if it's an unfinished novel. Short stories and poems and such should be entered once they're finished.

So novels can be entered several times until their finished and everything else only once, right?

Mmk. When do we post the polls?
Oh, and how many categories should there be? Like most inspiring, funniest, etc. How many should there be for poems, stories, etc.

Well, I have a few suggestions for polls...
Most inspiring Funniest Most touching (maybe too close to inspiring, but they're different, really) Best written (lol) Most creative
And for people:
Most Improved Writer (just an idea) Best Editor Best Advice
*shrug* If you like any of those... I did steal some of the ideas from you too, lol.

When will the voting stop?

Depends on when you want to stop the contest. Like if we put the polls up now, it can't stop at the end of the month, and the winners can be for october.
